Baucher bit with single joint and 16 mm solid barrel, made of stainless steel. With its fixed upper rings for attachment to the upright, it offers a slightly elevating effect and greater stability in the horse's mouth. The jointed bit engages the bars and tongue with a direct action, maintaining a clear but not harsh contact.

Directions for use

Rinse thoroughly after every use and check the coating regularly. Choose the correct size for the horse, leaving roughly 5–10 mm on each side; fit with suitable cheekpieces and curb chain in the case of a Pelham. Store away from heat and UV light.

Benefits

The polymer coating is gentle on the corners of the mouth and the bars, reduces rubbing and encourages salivation. The mouthpiece design gives a clear action: greater lateral stability in the eggbutt and full cheek versions, controlled leverage in the Pelham, and freedom to play and relax the jaw in the roller versions.
