KIMBLEWICK BOMBER BLUE
Kimblewich Bomber Blue - Bomber Bits
This bit is a long-shank Kimblewick. As with the Pelham, the action of the Kimblewick depends on the rider’s hand position. The rein slides on the D-shaped ring of the bit. If the hands are lowered before applying pressure on the reins, the rein will slide about an inch, causing the bit to sit at approximately a 45° angle in the mouth. This results in the mouthpiece applying downward and backward pressure on the lower jaw, combined with downward pressure on the poll, creating a lowering action. There are three rein positions that allow for increasing or decreasing the pressure.
The Bomber Blue is a unique bit that delivers exceptional results for most horses. The mouthpiece features a port that provides tongue relief. The nylon composite material is light in the mouth and encourages salivation. It is particularly suited for horses that resist metal bits
