The mouthpiece features a medium port to create space for the horse's tongue, relieving tongue pressure and promoting relaxation. The reins are to be attached to the large ring. The loose ring that attaches to the bit can also rotate, reducing rein engagement on the poll. Additionally, the mouthpiece is fixed to the sides with a solid surface to encourage flexion and improve aid effectiveness.

The blue sweet iron mouthpiece promotes salivation and acceptance of the bit. The material oxidizes easily, warming quickly in the horse's mouth and producing a sweet taste
