These hind leg protectors are specifically designed to ventilate the tendons and ligaments of the horse. The heat generated from the leg passes through the perforated neoprene layer and is then distributed through the 3D mesh channelled fabric. Fresh air enters through the air vents, driven by the horse's movement, which circulates the collected heat in the channelled fabric and directs it upward through the exit grille.

The ventilation in these boots is both horizontal— from the inside out—and vertical— from bottom to top: an innovative technology never used before. The fetlock protection is provided by carbon combined with a shock-absorbing Nitrexgel film.
