Training Elastic Reins (Long) - Norton - Colour: Black
Fully elastic reins with less direct effect on the mouth. Ideal for horses that stiffen their necks and resist the rider's hand, suitable for training young horses. Fully adjustable.
Can be used under saddle or with a cummerbund; they attach to the cummerbund or girth rings on each side of the horse.
As with all training reins, it is important not to set them too short, especially at the start of the session, as the aim is not to confine the horse (which would cause defensiveness) but to create a structure within which the horse can move freely.
