These Tendon Grip Gel Socks are made of nylon coated with high-quality mineral oil that moisturizes and protects the skin from injuries caused by rubbing, irritation, and wounds. Also used to treat hypertrophic and keloid scars. Ideal for horses with sensitive hoof bulbs and pasterns when wearing overreach boots. Use the Tendon Grip Gel Sock under the overreach boots and secure it to the hoof with good adhesive tape. We recommend using Tesa tape type 4541. The Tendon Grip Gel Sock can be washed with mild soap and air-dried - lightly dust the gel with talcum powder after drying.
