HALTERS & ROPES
The halter is a harness made up of bands connected to each other by metal rings that surround the muzzle and the nape of the horse. This finish, in turn, is connected to a rope usually attached to the ring located under the nose of the horse.
The halter allows the rider to drive and direct the equine for a walk simply by applying a slight tension on the rope that forces the horse to flex the neck in the direction given.
The noseband is the strap of the headboard, supported by uprights, which passes around the muzzle of the horse. This harness is inserted under the cheekbones of the animal and, depending on the shape chosen, the approach to work will be different. The more the jaws are tightened and the action taken by the horse will be more determined.
